Today at work a child turns to me and says:
"Is milk made of butter?"
Before I could even say a word, a child across the table from me says, in the least sympathetic voice imaginable:
"Ugh, NO! Milk is made of COWS!!!"
At this point I died laughing. It was so funny to me. I later decided to share the story with a few of my coworkers (of which do not typically enjoy my company or my stories), but no one seemed to find it very funny. I, however, did not lose faith, and I believe that you will read this blog and laugh your butts off.
Another proud moment. Brought to you by the YMCA of Jonesboro Arkansas.

Welp, I haven't written in a while...
So, it's been quite a while since I have written. Since my last blog, I went home to Benton for a couple of weeks. This was an interesting experience. I went home to work, and it was good. I worked, what seemed like- my butt off, then got to hang out with Christopher for a total of SEVEN DAYS!! The next week I worked some more.
During this time, I also watched Colton, Chris, Hannah, Jared, and Kelly (not sure on the spelling) graduate. I FINALLY got back to Jonesboro in time to not get to swim. Our dag-gum pool wasn't open for like a million years.
- I got to, I'm saying that phrase loosely, start school on Monday. School was/is good, I have just been doing a lot. Here is a short list of this weeks activities:
- Start school (including getting to school super early, because I didn't have all the needed materials.
- I also had to do a lot of busy work for ASU, in order to actually attend the school this summer.
- I also got to "deal" with my car. It just wouldn't start. It worked on a jumpstart, but that's the only way it will start.
- Thank GOODNESS the incredible Joe Deeter worked his all powerful magic on my car, and got it fixed. This was such a blessing because I have no money.
- I have also been searching and searching for a job here. There is apparently no need for help from Mollie Black here in the boro. Whatever. I know that God has something in the plans for me, and it will work out.
Well, I really have like tons and tons more to say, but I'm about to watch "He's just not that into you" with the girls. (which is funny)
Lastly, I get to hang out with all my friends and have a wonderful weekend this weekend. It all starts tomorrow at 1. Then I get to go on a date with my incredible, wonderful, extremely good looking boyfriend. Then hang out, wedding/dancing/hangout, then drive, cookout, sleep....then back to school.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense because I have no time to even read this again.
Peace.

College LiveText
I do not enjoy "college livetext". It is this database for Education majors at ASU. I do not understand the though behind this....Students are to pay over $100 for it, and are required to upload every silly paper, reflection, and project onto this thing. Then before we can graduate, someone goes through and looks at our work. We are told throughout the years that this database of our information (that can be shared with professors and other users of livetext) will be helpful as we begin to teach. ONE PROBLEM...our subscription for this program runs out right after we graduate. How will this be helpful to us, unless we pay more money to renew the subscription! AHA! Colleges are all money-making scams, even the part this claims to be helping us.
I could seriousy go on and on about this ridculousness, but it's pointless. Plus, I'm in the library and it's about to close.
I'm off to a night of fun with my church, and praying about our future and those in this fine city.
There is much more to come, don't worry.

Meh Meh Meh
So, today is schmaybe not my favorite day ever. A lot has happened lately...I moved out of my campus apartment, and into a big girl apartment! It was a pretty long process, and will continue to be so, but I think this is going to be a great home. I'm excited to see God work through this apartment. What else has happened?....well, I am done with school for the semester, and I did pretty well. I have approximately a month before I'm back in school until I graduate. I don't mind though, I'm really enjoying school now, I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
Okay, so why is today not a "good" day?... you may ask. Well, it's graduation for pretty much all my friends today, and that signifies a lot for me. I will watch pretty much everybody I "came into college with" walk across that platform and receive a diploma....not the lest depressing thing I have ever done. More than that though, Christopher is about to leave for the summer. I know, whatever, I'll be fine, but it's still not fun. I will miss him, but I'm blessed to have great friends, a great church, school, and HOPEFULLY a job soon.
Last thing, today is a little less bad, however, because my sister is getting her PUPPY today. (sorry to scream, I'm just excited for her).
So...here is today.
1. Goodbye to boyfriend
2. Goodbye to friends
3. HELLO TO OLLIE!!

Look out internet....Here I come
So...I realize that I am really late coming into the whole blogging thing, but whatever, I am very excited about this. My roommate Pip started a blog today, and so I want the two other people who look at this blog to also look at her blog. It is:www.pipjackson.wordpress.com
I rekindled my love for my boyfriend (of three months) tonight. We bowled, then had pizza. It was very romantic. We also went to walmart with my friends, but had to leave early for unmentioned reasons (we had to poop). Before we left the parking lot, however, we found interest in other things...aka: 4 students in "Prom Attire". It was really awkward, but super funny because the couples didn't seem to mesh well. Best part was that one of the couples got into the car, but the girl hopped into the driver's seat and the smaller, more emo guy got into the passenger seat. So romantic. Hope they had a great time.
